Google Earth and Google Maps should come to Colombian companies

As a result of a strategy that has been advancing in the region for its Google Maps platform, the Internet giant reached an agreement with the firm Servinformación location intelligence solutions. The purpose of this agreement is to give companies using Google Maps Premier and Google Earth Enterprise services and support closer and opportunities that allow them to exploit these two geographic solutions.

Google Maps API Premier is adopted in the software companies from different industries or on their Web sites to display data based on location, or to provide better content to clients or visitors with interactive maps.

Meanwhile, Google Earth Enterprise allows companies to synthesize terabytes of imagery, terrain, vector data and geospatial mapping applications lightweight, intuitive and easy to use for employees and users.

Servinformación selected Google as its Google Enterprise Partner thanks to the 10-year history of the Colombian company and its leadership in location intelligence solutions and geographic information systems.

Google's alliance with Servinformación joins that Google has established with local leaders in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Mexico. With this strategy, Google seeks to promote the mass use of Google Maps and Google Earth in companies and other organizations, in times when the geo-location takes an increasingly more important for both end users and employees and work groups.
