After months of leaks, Research in Motion (RIM) have released the first images and features of the new Porsche Design P 9981 BlackBerry. This is a 'smartphone' unique design with 2.8 inch touch screen, redesigned keyboard, a 1.2 GHz processor and a 5 mega-pixel camera.
Research in Motion (RIM) has published on its website features and images of its new BlackBerry Porsche Design P 9981. Phone is a true to the philosophy of RIM but with a unique touch in its design. The terminal is made of steel and the back is lined with leather. RIM continues to believe that the full keyboard, which in this case presents a different design than the company often used traditionally. The keys are perfectly square and divided in two by a horizontal line that separates the letters of the secondary characters.
The top is designed to screen, framed in black, which creates contrast with the grey keyboard and an upper band with the name of the device, Porsche Design. This screen is touch-sensitive 2.8-inch, and specifications RIM says it has a resolution of 640 by 480.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Over the heart of Porsche Design BlackBerry, RIM has chosen a processor 8655 to 1.2 Ghz MS and a RAM of 758 MB. In terms of capacity, the device has a memory of 8 GB storage and allows the expansion of space to 32 GB cards.
